Family Portraits at Presideo Park San Diego
I have said it before, and I will say it again, I love taking family photos at Presideo Park in Old Town, San Diego. Magic always happens here! Beautiful families become stunning in the beautiful golden hour light, kids magically cooperate, and park patrons have been known to create exciting environments. This evening it was a man making GIANT bubbles that mesmerized all of us, kids and adults alike.
Before this session mama asked if a mini session was enough time to capture nice pictures of a family with two kids. I reassured her that almost every family I photograph has at least two kids, most of the time even more and a mini session is always enough. The only exception is if there is any extended family joining us, or outfit changes. In these situations I recommend a whole hour session.
These siblings were so amazing and posed so perfectly! It only took my usual bribe (pez), a promise to be finished quickly, and a few perfectly timed jokes and these two were happy to follow directions and smile. Afterward I asked their mama if she thought that a mini was enough time for her family and she whole heartedly agreed that it was plenty.
