6/52: Animals - A boy and his quail

So, long story short, we raised quail, but after a long summer, a new baby and half of our flock dying at the hand of a backyard predator, we decided to rehome the remaining few birds. This boy loves these birds. He would always run outside and look for their eggs and try to pet them. They did not enjoy being petted, so he wasn't often successful, but on this day I helped him get a nice good pet in before they went to live with our friends.
